When my older brother, Yu, was
hospitalized for a thorough medical
examination, the cancer was already
in its terminal stage. This was kept
a secret, but I was already
discussing his wishes
regarding his
funeral
.
My
brother Yu
had one thing he
desperately wanted to
achieve: an exhibition
of all his artwork in
a single venue
.
Preparations
for this exhibition
were underway

before the exhibition
could begin, my brother
Yu passed away peacefully
.
He was 79 years old
.
He left behind
the message
,
“The
funeral should
be a modest affair with
only close relatives present.
I would like everyone to consider
the upcoming art exhibition
as my funeral and please
come to see it.”
